Redlands Rebels is a Boccia Australia–recognised club in the Redlands. We are social first. Competitive when you want to be. Always a place to land on a Sunday.
A social club with a competitive side
Most Sundays are relaxed — ramps out, friendly ends underway, new players learning the game, birthdays being celebrated, and plenty of conversation between matches.
But among the laughs are some seriously talented players. Members of the Rebels also compete at state and national events, with some progressing through Queensland and Boccia Australia pathways.
We’re proud of the red and black, proud to be Rebels, and even prouder of the welcoming community behind the jersey.
Who you’ll find here
- New players — Whether you’ve never played Boccia before or you’re simply looking for a social sport, we’ll help you learn at your own pace.
- Competitive athletes — From BC1 through BC4, including throwers and ramp players, we support athletes who want to develop their skills and pursue competition pathways.
- Families, carers and support workers — You’re part of the club too. The people cheering from the sidelines, helping with equipment, sharing a laugh and making Sundays possible are a big part of the Rebels community.

When competition season rolls around, the Rebels swap social Sundays and weekends for the big stage. Club members have represented Queensland, competed at Boccia Australia events, stood on podiums, and brought home medals, usually with plenty of stories to share when they return.
The competition matters, but so does celebrating every achievement along the way.
